In this project, we will explore an e-commerce dataset using Python for data exploration and cleaning as well as Tableau to create a dashboard.

DuckDB can be a good alternative for analytical workload without the need to install external DB server. It also means we can show SQL results directly in .ipynb files.

A dashboard can help to improve learning by highlighting important metrics.

Backtest(R) Pro has better charts, important metrics e.g. Sharpe ratio and more!

After building the back test tool, it is time to share it with others. The tool is free to use and hopefully can show that most trading strategies are not profitable.

I noticed there were many cases where people in Indonesia were lured to join 'robot trading' schemes. Marketing materials mentioned the use of AI in trading to achieve unrealistic profit but turned out to be disguised ponzi schemes. So I decided to start creating some tutorials about algorithmic trading in my free time.
